Human Rights and Responsible Sourcing Policy
Safeera. Effective . Version 1.0.
Safeera is committed to respecting human rights in its operations, products and business relationships. This Policy applies to Safeera’s activities and informs the requirements placed on suppliers and partners. It states standards and commitments; it is not an annual statutory transparency statement or a claim that a particular supplier audit has been completed.
1. People and work
We prohibit forced labor, human trafficking, unlawful child labor, discrimination, harassment and retaliation. We respect lawful wages, working-time protections, safe conditions, freedom of association and collective bargaining. Recruitment practices must not trap workers through fees, withheld identity documents or debt. Remediation must consider the needs and safety of affected people.
These expectations cover employees, contractors and workers in relevant supply relationships, including manufacturing, electronics, solar and storage systems, installation, logistics and project services. A temporary or subcontracted relationship does not remove an applicable protection.
2. Products and affected communities
Safeera’s equipment and AI services must be designed and operated with attention to physical safety, privacy, lawful access and effects on people nearby. Property ownership does not authorize unlawful surveillance or unrestricted collection of visitors’ or neighbors’ information. Intelligence services must not be used to facilitate illegal exploitation, coercion or unlawful discrimination.
Site planning must consider lawful electrical, fire, noise, environmental and access requirements. Renewable-energy and community-benefit claims must be supported by evidence and distinguish a proposed package from actual operation.
3. Risk-based sourcing
Supplier assessment must consider the product, geography, labor model, supply chain, ownership and warning signs relevant to the transaction. Higher-risk areas require deeper diligence and appropriate evidence of origin, lawful employment, product authenticity and environmental handling. Forced-labor import restrictions apply independently of whether an annual-reporting revenue threshold is met.
The Supplier Code of Conduct sets contractual requirements when incorporated into the relationship. Safeera will seek traceability and credible information rather than rely solely on unsupported supplier assurances. Inability to obtain material evidence must be escalated before a decision that depends on it.
4. Concerns and remedy
People affected by Safeera or its suppliers may raise concerns through legal@safeera.ai or a lawful external channel. Reports must be handled without retaliation and with attention to confidentiality, fairness and immediate risk. Workers must not be required to raise a concern only through the person implicated.
Where Safeera causes or contributes to harm, it will take appropriate steps toward remedy consistent with its responsibility. Where a business relationship is linked to harm, it will use appropriate contractual and commercial measures to seek correction. Ending a relationship may be necessary, but foreseeable impacts on affected workers should be considered alongside legal obligations and the seriousness of the conduct.
5. Accountability and reporting
The CEO is accountable for implementing this Policy and arranging qualified assistance when needed. Relevant diligence, findings, actions and unresolved concerns must be documented. Assessments and public statements must distinguish completed actions, planned work, scope limitations and remaining risks.
Safeera will assess applicable transparency and due-diligence requirements as its operations and jurisdictions change. Any required annual statement will identify the reporting entity and period, obtain required approval and accurately describe actual work. This Policy does not claim historic performance, verified coverage of every supplier or compliance certification under a foreign reporting regime.
