Speak-Up and Non-Retaliation Policy
Safeera. Effective . Version 1.0.
Anyone may raise a good-faith concern about Safeera’s conduct, including customers, workers, suppliers, contractors and members of the public. Concerns may involve safety, corruption, discrimination, privacy, security, sourcing, billing, financial records, misleading claims or another suspected violation.
1. How to report
Email legal@safeera.ai with the subject “Confidential conduct report,” or write to Safeera, Attention: Legal, 101 Jefferson Dr., Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States. Employees and contractors may also approach an appropriate manager. Security incidents should be sent to security@safeera.ai, and product hazards to hello@safeera.ai with “Product safety” in the subject.
These channels are not emergency services or a representation of a continuously staffed hotline. For an immediate threat to life or property, contact emergency services. You may report to a regulator, law enforcement authority, legal adviser or another protected channel without notifying Safeera first.
2. Information to include
Explain what happened, when, where, who may be involved, any ongoing risk and what supporting records are available. Identify a safe contact method if you want a response. You do not need to prove the concern or determine which law applies.
Do not obtain evidence through unauthorized access, interception or removal of another person’s data. Do not send passwords, private keys, patient records or large amounts of unrelated personal information. Identify the location of sensitive evidence so a lawful, secure collection method can be arranged.
3. Anonymity and confidentiality
You may omit your identity, although doing so may limit follow-up or investigation. Ordinary email and postal reporting are not guaranteed anonymous channels; technical or contextual information may identify a sender. Safeera does not promise absolute confidentiality where disclosure is necessary for a fair review, protection of people or a legal obligation.
Information will be limited to people who need it for assessment, investigation, corrective action or legal compliance, with appropriate protection. Details of another person’s discipline or private information may not be disclosed to the reporter.
4. Review and conflicts
Safeera will assess the concern, prioritize immediate safety or legal risks, preserve relevant records and arrange a proportionate review. A person implicated in a matter must not decide its outcome. Reports concerning the CEO or another responsible reviewer must be referred for disinterested review by an appropriately authorized person or independent qualified professional.
You may request independent handling in the report. This Policy does not represent that an external ombudsman or third-party reporting portal has been established. If you prefer not to report internally, lawful external routes remain available without penalty.
5. Non-retaliation
Safeera prohibits retaliation for raising an honest concern, requesting an accommodation, participating in a lawful investigation, refusing unlawful conduct or exercising a protected right. Protection does not depend on the concern being substantiated. Retaliation itself should be reported and will be assessed as a separate concern.
Knowingly false allegations or deliberate evidence fabrication may be addressed through a fair process. An error, lack of proof or disagreement is not by itself evidence of bad faith. No confidentiality or contract provision may be used to prevent a legally protected disclosure, claim or cooperation with authorities.
6. Outcomes and records
Where a concern is substantiated, corrective action may include a repair, refund, control change, training, discipline, ending a relationship or a report required by law. Safeera will provide an appropriate update when contact information is available, subject to privacy and legal restrictions. Records are retained only for legitimate investigation, compliance and legal purposes with appropriate access limits.
