Economics

Capacity value is computed from public cloud on-demand list prices for equivalent GPU capacity, the median of the 4 providers below as of September 11, 2026, at 40, 70 and 90% utilization. It is gross revenue potential, not a forecast.

Capacity value

What the same capacity rents for in the public cloud: 16 RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, at published on-demand list prices. This is what an owner would otherwise pay, or could recover by making spare capacity available.

Google Cloud
$72.00 per hour — G4 (g4-standard-48, 1 GPU), $4.50 per GPU-hour
AWS
$53.76 per hour — G7e (g7e.2xlarge, 1 GPU), $3.36 per GPU-hour
Microsoft Azure
$102.08 per hour — NC RTX PRO 6000 BSE v6 (Standard_NC144ds_xl_RTXPRO6000BSE_v6, 1 GPU), $6.38 per GPU-hour
Oracle Cloud
$72.00 per hour — BM.GPU.RTXPro.8 (bare metal, 8 GPU), $4.50 per GPU-hour
Per hour

Per year at 40%
$252,288
Per year at 70%
$441,504
Per year at 90%
$567,648

Method: median list price per GPU-hour × 16 GPUs × 8,760 hours × utilisation. Based on published on-demand list prices for equivalent GPU capacity as of September 11, 2026; excludes networking, storage and support; not a forecast of resale income.

How this is calculated
  • Powered hours a month = 730 × (1 − downtime). Hours sold = powered hours × utilization.
  • Monthly gross revenue = sell price per GPU-hour × 16 GPUs × hours sold.
  • Monthly electricity = (6.8 kW × hours sold + 2 kW × powered hours not sold) × price per kWh. The specification's 2 kW system share (4.8 kW GPUs + 2 kW system) is charged in powered hours with no GPU-hours sold.
  • Estimated monthly operating cost = electricity + internet. Net before financing = gross revenue − operating cost.
  • Monthly payment = the est. total less the prepayment, amortised at 7% APR over 42 months on the lease or the finance term; direct purchase has no payment and the whole total is the prepayment.
  • Net after payment = net before financing − monthly payment.
  • Payback on the prepayment = prepayment ÷ net after payment; payback on the full estimate = est. total ÷ net before financing; both in whole months.

Defaults: utilization 70% and downtime 5% are assumptions to adjust. The sell price, $4.50 per GPU-hour, is the median of the 4 list prices above. Electricity, $0.173 per kWh, is the 2025 U.S. average retail price for the residential sector (U.S. Energy Information Administration, Electric Power Monthly, Table 5.3; checked October 11, 2026). Internet, $100 a month, is a published business fiber list price for a 1 Gbps line, plus taxes and fees (checked October 11, 2026).

Revenue potential depends on demand and on the price Safeera’s distribution channels achieve. The figures exclude electrical service upgrades, internet upgrades, maintenance, insurance, taxes and time offline beyond the downtime entered. They are estimates, not a forecast or a guarantee.

The equipment price is an estimate and subject to change; the final price is confirmed before delivery.

Made for

  • Brain-computer interfaces

Decoders for Neuralink-class implants, retrained on your own signals every night, offline.

  • Household robots

One family intelligence for every robot in the house, and one switch for all of them.

  • Creators and engineers

70-billion-parameter models, video generation and simulation without a cloud bill.

Field notes

Neuralink and machine learning: why the decoder needs a home

An implant's 1,024 electrodes mean nothing without a decoder trained on the wearer's own neurons, and that decoder drifts, so it needs private, nightly retraining. Colorado, California and Montana class neural data as sensitive. A home GPU keeps model, data and latency with the person. Read the note

The home that thinks: household robots and the case for a family brain

1X's NEO ships with remote human operators who can, by arrangement, see inside your home. A single local cortex, with cameras, models and the switch under one roof, is how a robot earns trust. Read the note

Beyond Neuralink: the crowded race to connect brains and machines

Synchron, Precision Neuroscience, Paradromics, Blackrock, Science Corporation, Merge Labs and a dozen more are chasing Neuralink with implants, retinal chips, ultrasound and wristbands. Every one of them ends in the same place: a personal model that must run close to the body. Read the note
