Privacy Policy
Safeera. Effective . Version 1.0.
This Policy explains how Safeera handles personal information from its public website, inquiries, reservations, merchandise transactions and business contacts. Our address is 101 Jefferson Dr., Menlo Park, CA 94025, United States. Contact privacy@safeera.ai for questions or requests.
1. Scope and responsibility
Safeera determines the purposes and means of the information handling described here. Customer-controlled workloads, private files, models, robot sensors and information processed on an Intelligence Unit are addressed by the applicable customer agreement, the Device and Workload Privacy Notice and any data processing agreement. Hardware ownership alone does not determine who controls another person’s personal information.
Independent lenders, installers engaged directly by you and third-party services have their own notices. Where Safeera engages a provider on its behalf, Safeera remains responsible for its own legal and contractual duties. This Policy does not itself authorize access to a private workload or consent on behalf of household members, visitors, employees or patients.
2. Information collected
Information you provide. Contact details, organization and role, product interests, messages, requested configuration and location, order and reservation details, delivery details, payment confirmations and customer-service correspondence. Payment credentials entered into a payment provider’s form are handled by that provider; do not send them in a general contact message.
Website information. Standard server records include IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and referring page where provided. Approximate country or region may be inferred for security. The public site does not use advertising pixels or third-party analytics. Optional first-party device recognition and preferences are described in the separate Cookie and Browser Storage Notice and require the website’s functional-storage choice.
Other sources. We may receive your information from a person authorized to act for your organization, a provider involved in your requested transaction, or public business sources. Any identity, compliance or financing information requested for a later transaction will be limited to its stated purpose and collected through the designated process. Do not submit patient data, government identification documents, biometric data or account credentials through a general website form.
3. Purposes
We use information to respond to requests; prepare and administer reservations and orders; deliver merchandise; communicate about transactions, safety and support; remember permitted website preferences; secure services and investigate misuse; comply with law; maintain required financial and transaction records; and establish or defend legal claims.
Optional marketing is separate from required transaction communications. Contact information or messages are not permission to train a general-purpose AI model on private customer material. A new incompatible purpose requires the notice, permission or other lawful basis applicable to it. De-identified information must be maintained without attempts to re-identify people except lawful testing of the de-identification process.
4. Recipients
Information is disclosed as necessary to hosting, email, payment, fulfillment and shipping providers; to installers or energy-system providers for an introduction or site assessment you request; to professional advisers; and to authorities or other recipients where required by law or necessary to address a lawful safety, fraud or security concern. Providers acting for us must use information only for authorized purposes and protect it under applicable terms.
We may disclose information in a genuine corporate transaction subject to confidentiality and continuing privacy protections. A successor must respect applicable law and existing commitments. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not permit a provider to use private customer information for its own advertising merely because it receives information to perform our service.
5. Choices
Use “Cookie settings” on safeera.ai to change optional storage permission. Browser controls can remove stored information. You may decline optional device recognition and still use the public site. Global Privacy Control is respected as described in the Cookie and Browser Storage Notice; it does not replace a separate consent required for a new purpose.
To stop marketing, use an unsubscribe mechanism supplied with the message or email privacy@safeera.ai. We may still send necessary transactional, legal or safety communications. Withdrawing an optional consent does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. It does not by itself cancel an order or delete records that must be retained by law.
6. Retention
Contact inquiries are retained until resolved and generally for up to 24 months afterward, unless you request earlier deletion or an applicable legal obligation or claim requires retention. Merchandise and reservation transaction records are retained as needed for fulfillment, refunds and support and thereafter for applicable tax, accounting and legal periods, generally seven years. Routine website access logs are retained for 30 days, except records needed for an identified security event or legal requirement.
Browser storage lifetimes are stated in the Cookie and Browser Storage Notice. Data required for a legal hold or unresolved dispute is restricted to that purpose. We delete or de-identify information when its lawful purpose ends; where immediate deletion from a protected backup is not feasible, it is isolated from ordinary use until replaced or deleted. We assess each category separately and do not retain all information merely because one record must be preserved.
7. California and other U.S. privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to personal information and its sources, purposes and recipients; correction; deletion; a portable copy; and information about disclosures. Applicable rights may also include opting out of sale, targeted advertising or certain consequential profiling, and limiting specified uses of sensitive information. The public site does not undertake those sale or advertising activities. You will not be penalized for exercising a protected right.
The relevant information categories are identifiers and contact details; transaction and product-interest information; internet activity and device information; approximate location for security; and business or professional details you provide. The purposes, sources, recipient categories and retention criteria are stated above. A sensitive-information request in a separately approved transaction will include its own collection explanation.
Submit a request to privacy@safeera.ai or by post at the address above. We verify identity in a manner proportionate to the request, using information already held where possible. An authorized agent may act with appropriate evidence of authority. Do not send additional sensitive documents unless we request them through an appropriate channel.
We will acknowledge and respond within applicable deadlines. For covered California access, deletion or correction requests, we acknowledge receipt within 10 business days and ordinarily respond within 45 calendar days; any permitted extension and its reason will be communicated within the initial period. A denial will explain available grounds and appeal rights. To appeal, reply to the decision or email “Privacy Appeal” to privacy@safeera.ai. You may also contact the applicable state privacy regulator or attorney general. California residents may request information about disclosures for third parties’ direct marketing as provided by California law.
8. EEA, UK and Swiss rights
Where applicable, our bases are steps requested before a contract and contract performance; legal obligations; consent for optional storage or another consent-based purpose; and legitimate interests in responding to business inquiries, operating and protecting the site and resolving claims, balanced against individual rights. Information about someone who is not a party to a contract is not processed on a contract basis solely because their organization has a contract.
Applicable rights include access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and withdrawal of consent. You may object to direct marketing at any time and complain to a competent data protection authority. We respond within applicable statutory periods. We do not use this Policy to obtain a blanket waiver of transfer or privacy protections.
9. International handling and security
Safeera is based in the United States. Information may be handled in the United States and in locations of providers needed for the stated service. Where a restricted international transfer requires safeguards, those safeguards must be in place before the transfer. Contact privacy@safeera.ai for information about safeguards applicable to your information.
We use safeguards appropriate to the information and risk, including secure transmission and access restrictions. No system can be guaranteed completely secure. Report a suspected issue to security@safeera.ai without sending passwords or private workload contents. This notice does not claim a certification or a particular product’s security architecture.
10. Children and changes
The public site and ordering process are intended for adults, not directed to children under 13. Contact privacy@safeera.ai if a child has provided information so that we can address it. We do not knowingly sell or share children’s personal information for behavioral advertising.
We will publish material changes with an updated date and provide additional notice where required. A change does not retrospectively authorize an incompatible use. Consent will be requested when required. Earlier accepted contractual data protections remain binding unless lawfully changed.
