Site and Robotics Safety Rules
Safeera. Effective . Version 1.0.
These rules apply to Safeera installations, demonstrations, service visits and supported robotics integrations. They supplement the configuration-specific operating instructions and accepted installation agreement. They do not replace an electrical design, a robot manufacturer’s safety instructions, a permit or professional commissioning.
1. Qualified installation and authorized location
Only appropriately qualified and authorized personnel may install, connect, open or service equipment. Obtain the required electrical, structural, fire, zoning, mechanical and utility approvals for the actual configuration and site. Equipment must not be energized before the required commissioning checks are complete.
Use the approved supply, disconnects, grounding, protection, clearances, structural support and environmental limits. A household service-panel rating is not confirmation of spare capacity for a continuous load. Solar, storage and generators require their own protection and interconnection assessment. Do not improvise an extension-cord supply or assume grid independence because a solar package is installed.
2. Operating environment
Keep ventilation and service access clear. Protect equipment from unauthorized access, impact, liquid ingress and other conditions outside its specified rating. Do not store materials on, against or inside the enclosure. Do not climb, sit or allow children to play on it. Outdoor operation is permitted only for a configuration and placement approved for that environment.
Do not alter coolant paths, electrical components, firmware limits or protective devices without authorization and the required validation. Follow the supplied coolant and handling instructions. Stop use and seek service for damage, leakage, abnormal heat, odor, smoke, repeated protective trips or an instruction to stop use. Do not defeat a protective trip to continue earning revenue or finish a job.
3. Emergency response
If there is an immediate threat, move people to safety and contact emergency services. Use an accessible emergency stop or disconnect only if doing so is safe and consistent with the equipment instructions. Do not touch exposed conductors, leaking energized equipment or a damaged battery system. Do not open the enclosure or attempt a repair during an emergency.
Once immediate safety is addressed, report the Unit identifier, location and observed condition to hello@safeera.ai with “Product safety” in the subject. A security-related command or compromise should also be reported to security@safeera.ai. Do not restart a Unit subject to a stop-use instruction until the applicable clearance or remedy is completed.
4. Service access and visitors
The site operator must identify the authorized contact, safe access route and relevant site hazards before a visit. Technicians must follow site rules, confirm the scope and protect unrelated household or business information. Access permission is limited to the scheduled work; it is not unrestricted permission to enter a property or inspect private content.
Visitors must follow marked boundaries and staff instructions. Safeera’s Accessibility and Service Animal Policy and Non-Discrimination Policy apply within their scope. A restriction must address an actual safety requirement, not a stereotype or an unnecessary exclusion.
5. Robotics authorization
Cyber Edition or another supported integration may control only the devices, functions and operating area approved for that deployment. Before activation, identify the responsible human operator, permitted tasks, physical boundaries, speed and force limits, emergency stop, human intervention and behavior on loss of connectivity or power. Validate the actual robot and environment; a successful software demonstration is not sufficient physical safety evidence.
Do not disable collision, force, occupancy or access protections. Do not use an integration as a weapon, for unlawful surveillance or for an unapproved safety-critical task. Operation near people, animals, vehicles or fragile property must remain within the manufacturer’s and deployment’s validated limits. Do not infer permission for autonomous public-space operation from permission to operate inside a private property.
6. Human control and safe failure
The responsible operator must be able to stop or restrict a hazardous function through the approved local method. Loss of a cloud connection, account permission, billing service or AI response must lead to the defined safe behavior, not unrestricted operation. Remote control and updates must not override independent physical protections.
A site operator must not delegate safety approval to an unrestricted agent. Review material task changes, new attachments, new sensors and changed operating environments before use. Clinical care, medical devices and assistive functions require the applicable professional, technical and regulatory authorization; a general Safeera installation does not provide that authorization.
7. Privacy, recording and changes
Record only the data lawfully necessary for an authorized purpose. Give required notice to visitors, workers and other affected people. Property ownership does not authorize recording a neighbor or accessing another tenant’s data. Optional diagnostics or test recording requires the applicable notice and permission.
Maintain the configuration and service records needed to identify affected equipment and software. Report a material incident or near miss promptly, preserve evidence safely and cooperate with a corrective action. A safety restriction cannot be waived merely by agreeing to assume risk. These rules do not transfer Safeera’s own product or installation duties to the site operator.
